How to use ? - A gloomy smog in a jar

Step 1

Draw, then cut out the silhouette of a haunted castle in a drink box.Cover the silhouette in black with marker pen.

Step 2

With the black marker, decorate the outside of the jar with bats and quirky trees.

Step 3

Add a small amount of very hot tap water (<1cm), then close the lid and stir the jar until it is uniformly warm.

Step 4

Place the castle in the jar.Put the lid upside down on the jar and add some ice cubes on top.

Place a lit candle behind your jar and darken the room.

Now it is possible to observe the fog that forms and moves.

Step 5

Light up a match, then extinguish it and immediately throw it into the jar.

Replace the lid and observe how the fog increases and creates an even more gloomy atmosphere...
