How to use ? - A suprising mussel

  • Step 1

Draw on the plastic base two identical shells connected by a band.

    Cut out the outline.

{#lang_bricoWikiWarnings_warning} You can also fold the plastic bottom in half and then draw and cut a single shell to form two perfectly identical shells.

  • Step 2

Cut a slit at the top of the shells.

Cross the tips and staple them together so the shells are hollow.

    Cut off the excess.

  • Step 3

Close the two halves of the shell.

Staple the band inside the shell.

  • Step 4

Decorate the outside of the mussel with waterproof paint.

  • Step 5

Staple small elements (paper algae) to the inside and a thread with a small floating object at the other end.

  • Step 6

Close the shell and wrap it with a strip of paper.

Glue the ends of the strip of paper together.

Let the glue dry by pressing the ends with a clothes pin.
